The other day I was out and about and needed Drew to be happy for just a bit more time, so I could pay and go. So, I gave him the lid to his snack cup. I was certain I would be picking it off the floor in the very near future but thought it would worth it so I could finish my business.
So I hand the lid over. Drew is busy/happy and I get done what I need to get done.
Then I look over because now he is too quiet. He was sitting there, pleased with himself. He got the lid on the snack cup. Puzzle solved.
I never, never, never thought he would be able to do that. I was surprised but chocked it up to luck.

Hours later, same day we are at home. Drew really enjoys playing with tupperware. I don't mind because I feel like it is really hard hurt yourself with tupperware. So, he is putting toys in a container and walking around with it. So, I thinking it would be fun, I give him the lid. Again, I just toss it and think he won't be able to get this.
But- Drew surprises me again.
I know putting lids on containers is not a big deal. I am sure my friend Eric could do it with his eyes closed, but for a 14-month old little boy and me- it is very exciting.
He is growing up and learning to do so many things. He is dedicated to a project until he can solve it or slam the pieces together and make some noise.
Yeah- Drew!!
I was pretty impressed - you should see how the tupperware is organized at my house. If he ever develops the skill to match an assortment of lids to their various containers, send him over.
