What's for dinner?

I was trying to decide what to fix for Drew for dinner. He has been eating the same types of foods we eat but dinner wasn't going to out of the oven until after his bedtime. (Bad timing on my part- it took longer then I thought.) So, he is sitting there and I give him some pasta. Doesn't want any. We pull out a jar of cinammon/oatmeal/something else, and he won't eat it. Cheerios weren't working. We try watermelon. And he is telling me without words to get it out of his face.
Finally I pull out the cantelope. This has been a real treat for him the last couple of days. HE loves cantelope. But He wants nothing to do with it.

Then I see the look in his eyes. His entire face starts to turn red. He is grunting and then breathing hard. He is pushing...what I realize is he is pooping!

No wonder he doesn't want to eat. Who likes to eat when they are on the toilet...

so after five minutes, we change the diaper and start dinner all over again...with great success!
