It is all in the details

This past Easter, Drew had mousse for the first time.

Needless to say, he loved it!

He even asked me to ask his Aunt Jenny how she made it. So she explained it to me and Drew asks me to make sure I understood it so that I could make it sometime.

We did take some leftovers home.

So when Drew thought about it, he remembered that we had some in the fridge.
He asked me- Mom can I have some of that...what is it?
Chocolate Deer? Can I have some chocolate deer?

I paused. I had to think about it for a minute.

And then I realized he was mixing up deer and moose.

Then as he is shoveling it in his cute little mouth, he starts thinking out loud...I wonder how they mix the deer and chocolate together.

So from now on in my house when you want chocolate mousse, we will ask for deer!
