Well, it has been a while since I've posted. Don't know where the time has gone but we now have to put away the long pants and pull out the shorts! Summer is here! (and maybe not technically, but step outside and then argue with me!)
Drew is 2 years old and almost 3 months old! He has started to pee -on - demand. What does that mean? It means if I ask him if he can "make pee-pee" for an m&m, he can! He has told me he has to go once on his own. And for now, that is good enough for us. Once we get serious, it is a big commitment. Diapers do make life easy when you are on the go! When he is ready, he will let me know. And then it will be his doing. Besides, he tries so hard to pee that I worry he might pull something.
He has really become a chatter box. He doesn't just repeat words, (and when he does repeat, he repeats, and repeats, and repeats) but he also saves phrases he hears for a later use. And then when you least expect it, he says it. For example, he love the little piggies with his toes. I usually do one foot and then the other. Well, I did his left foot and then his right and then Drew says, "last one". He wanted me to do it one more time!
He is also so creative (can you tell I am a proud mom?). He feeds his piggies, which requires food touching his feet. I have to try to watch him and prevent this. It doesn't always happen. Sometimes he eats food after it touches his toes. But you have to admire a boy who wants to make sure all his animals are fed.
I'll try to add some pictures soon.
